The perLocus FrameWork™ is a hardware independent layer, supporting different location technologies. It is the first in its kind, being hardware-vendor independent. Any solution built with this framework can be reused with any location technology (including RFID). This allows reuse of the business-logic on current and future technologies. The perLocus FrameWork™ also enables:

• Microsoft Windows Workflow Foundation support
• ERP system support
• Only one user-interface for management and setup of the system

Currently, the perLocus FrameWork™ supports the Ekahau and WhereNet solutions, technologies allowing you to trace people or assets with high accuracy. The upper-layer applications can receive data through an event-driven architecture and interfaces, which is an easy and well known architecture. The advantage is the easy and short learning process when using our framework, since developers are already familiar with this type of architecture.

The perLocus Framework™ v.2 is planned for the second quarter of 2007.

This release will be enhanced with following features:

• Support: Ekahau, WhereNet and AeroScout
• ISO Interface Compliant
• Support of Windows Workflow Foundation (.Net 3.0) for easy workflow creation
